How to Pick the Perfect White T-Shirt

A White T-Shirt is a Wardrobe must have, especially during the warmer months of Spring and Summer. Not only is it one of the most versatile pieces to own, it is comfortable and easy to care for.

However, when you pick "Essential pieces" there are some facts to consider.

1.) Firstly, what is the material made out of? Your White Tee should be soft, comfortable and definitely keep you cool. I always check to see if it is made of cotton, and the higher the percentage the better. Be sure to avoid nylon or rayon.

2.) Stitch work. Lets dig deeper, and check the seam work. Why? Believe it or not, clothes that are stitched well not only last longer but look better on. Check to see if there are loose threads, or if it is crafted poorly. If so, pass, and spend a bit more on something that will last.

3.) The Fit. If you are investing in only one White T-Shirt, it is better that it is not too tight. A loose fit will give you more options on styling it up or down. Keep it comfortable.

4.) Splurge a bit. Either treasure hunt for a deal, or splurge on a good brand  Trust me, it will be worth it. Essential pieces are meant to be worn often, and higher quality will not only last longer, but it will also upgrade all your coordinating pieces.

My Recommendations:
I personally own James Perse white T-Shirts. I know it is a bit of a splurge, but i find them to be the best. The quality is very high, and they stay looking great for a very long time.

good luck.

Ombre Romance

A Date with Ombre

OMBRÉ

Ombre Style, is one of my personal favorite ways to play with color. For those of you who live under a rock and have never heard the term, "ombre" it actually is a french word, meaning tones that shade into each other.
From Hair, nails, lips, and fashion, Ombre is everywhere! Playing with these colors has massive artistic potential due to the color palette being so refined. Creating softness in a otherwise harsh world is easy when you ombre.

How to Style "The Boyfriend Jean"

Styling the Boyfriend Jean can be tricky, simply because they are not made to show any curves. However, when used correctly, they can add just the right amount of edge and quirk. Here are some tips to think about when wearing the Boyfriend Jean.

How to Style The "Boyfriend Jean"

TIP 1: NO FLATS:Unless you are a model and have super long legs, do not wear a ballet flat, a loafer, or anything that doesn't have a heel. This type of jean is baggy, straight cut, and does not elongate the leg. If you match a flat to this particular pant you may come off looking like a stump.

Tip 2: ANKLE BOOTS: My shoe of choice is a ankle boot with a nice thick heel. Thin sky high heels don't go with the charm of a BF jean and make you look like you are trying too hard.

Tip 3: CUFF The JEANS: Rolling the bottom part of a BF jean gives the look of a crop pant. It is fun, and quirky and helps to balance the bulk.

Tip 4: LOOSE TEE: BF Jeans are all about comfort, and attitude. Wear a relaxed tee, bf jeans, a loose scarf, natural make up, and watch head turns.

Tip 5: FEMININE  BLOUSY TOPS: Don't be afraid to pull out your light, girly tops. BF jeans work well with such tops, and give the normal "girlie girl" a touch of edge they may normally not have.

TIP 6: CROP TOPS are a cute way to balance the bagginess of a bf jean.
