Blogmas Day 1: My Holiday Bag Collection

As most of you know, I am a collector. I am never the type to throw out the old and make room for the new. My Holiday Bag collection is made up of treasure pieces that I have gathered from all over the world over the course of many many years. I usually try to add one bag to the collection each season, but sometimes, I go a couple years till I find a piece that excites me.

This is my most beloved holiday bag. It is by Burberry, and it was a gift from my late grandfather. He was a man of impeccable taste, and this bag is a classic. I know it will wear beautifully in all stages of my life.

This gem is by Valentino, and I fell in love with it in Belgium. Everything about it screams Christmas, and it is often my go to bag for evenings out, or Christmas parties.

This clutch is very handy, because it also doubles as a side purse. It was purchased in Salzburg many years ago at Zara. It is a great way to add a pop of festive to any smart look.

This bag is the newest edition to my collection. It is made of 100% wool and it is made in Nepal. Not only does it fit a lot, but it is an accessory in itself.

This emerald green Ralph Lauren, was a gift to me a couple of years ago, and it is extremely useful. It is perfect for business, or work related events. It is extremely elegant, and perfect with cashmere sweaters.

This bag is another "love at first sight" favorite. I purchased it in France and it is by Sonia Rykiel. Everything about this bag screams Winter, and the little red bauble on the side never fails to put a festive smile on my face.

I found this bag in Brussels, from an antique store. It is hand embroidered in golden silk threads with pearl accents. The bag itself is crushed, royal blue velvet. A true statement piece, and work of art.

This bag was a given to me by my mother's close friend. I am not sure wear it comes from but considering it belonged to the wife of the ambassador of Japan, it is exciting to think wear this bag has traveled.

This beaded cross body purse comes from Thailand. It is my favorite bag to wear with light cashmere sweaters and mostly greys or cream.
